Bingham high school is a new expansion building constructed on a 1,175m2 land within the premises of the existing Bingham Academy School Compound. Not to negatively impact the ongoing activities of the school the land allocated is in the wooden peripheries of the property with a working area slope of about 10mts. Careful planning foresees that all necessary accessibility issues are resolved by using the natural slope as a connection between the three levels of the building without the need of using elevators or other mechanisms.
All classrooms, laboratories, offices, rest terraces and even athletic courts are directly accessible from the beautiful landscape so that students and all community can safely use the premises while enjoying the nature around. Use of locally available materials and simple design and detailing has achieved the goal of a cost effective construction, which was a major requirement of the project.
