Built in the “Capital of Africa” the Embassy of South Africa is a landmark building located in the southwest part of the city serving its intended use for the development of the two countries’ bilateral and multi-lateral functions.
Apart from the chancery building the complex also includes staff housing and recreational facilities all built to the required level of security and to South African and Ethiopian standards. The creative use of materials, forms, colors and textures combines South African and Ethiopian heritages and contexts providing a beautiful aesthetics to the built structure.
