This compact single-story building with high ceiling and mezzanine floor on one end, careful separates the various functional workspaces into the needed public and private functions of the institution. This also allowed the creation of sustainable concepts for natural passive ventilation through the use of wind catchers as well as natural light penetration through sun-pipes installed on the roof of the building. The front facade of the building is articulated through the creative use of materials and patterns, like re-used timber slats from trees removed from the site and painted steel sheet patterns enacting the steel roofs of the city.
